Two wolves under a full moon: one standing with its head turned to the right, the other lying on the rock in front of it and looking straight out. Conifers fill the left of the panel and a lit waterfall drops through pale rock behind them.
The 3D in the name describes the printing rather than the surface. The panel is flat, and what the term refers to is a high resolution silk screen process with enough tonal depth that the image reads as having volume rather than looking like a flat sticker.
Set beside a cheap single-pass print the difference is obvious. Run a hand across both and they feel identical.
Fur is the hardest thing to print. It is thousands of fine lines, and a low resolution file turns it to grey mush at any real size.
That is the difference between a bag that holds up when someone walks past you and one that only works from the far side of a room.
29 x 16 x 42 cm, Oxford fabric and black nylon, foam-lined back panel, air cushion shoulder straps, strong zips.
Water resistant rather than fully waterproof: the fabric sheds rain, and the zips and seams are not sealed.
Room inside for a laptop in a sleeve, a bottle, a notebook, lunch and a jacket. The foam padding on the back and straps is what makes it comfortable with books in it.
