The Stark sigil

The direwolf, and no explanation needed for anybody who will recognise it. It is modelled in the round as a full head, jaws open and turned to one side, with the mane cut into overlapping rows of pointed fur that sweep back over the shoulders of the ring. The recesses are darkened while the raised tips stay bright, which is what keeps all that detail legible at ring scale.

The head forms the whole top of the piece and stands well clear of a plain band that narrows towards the back.

Steel, and what that buys

Stainless steel resists corrosion in a way plated alloys do not. It will not green your finger, will not tarnish, and needs no polishing at any point in its life.

The practical consequence is that this is a ring you can put on and forget. Showers, swimming, washing up, the gym. None of it matters.

The one habit worth adopting is taking any ring off before heavy lifting, since metal between a bar and a finger is the single scenario where a ring can genuinely injure you.
