Dream Catcher Howling Wolf

Two wolves stand in the moonlight on the canvas panel at the top of this piece, the larger with its muzzle raised, a smaller wolf close at its side, dark conifers rising behind them and a full moon clear in the sky above the trees. The painting sits inside a border of amber and tan facets cut like stained glass, held in the largest of three black hoops.

Three hoops falling in line

Below the picture, two smaller hoops hang one under the other, each webbed in gold thread that draws in to a single red bead at the centre. Feathers in rust, tan and barred black hang from the sides and the base, strung through white and black beads, so the lower half of the piece drifts whenever a door opens or a window is cracked.

Hoop, feather, terylene chain, bead and canvas, handmade and hung from a cord at the top.
