Husky Comforter Cover

Ink line work and a night sky share one animal in this print. A white wolf stands in profile with its head lifted, face and ruff drawn in fine black pen strokes, while the chest and shoulder dissolve into a deep blue galaxy full of stars and pale cloud.

Line drawing meets night sky

The join is the clever part. Brush marks and small floating spheres carry the starfield up into the fur until it is hard to say where the drawing stops and the sky begins. The same blue splashes across the lower corner and the foot of the bed.

Both pillow covers bring the wolves back, two of them facing one another across the top of the bed in the same black line and galaxy blue.

The animal in the artwork is a wolf, white coated and long muzzled. A head raised like that reads as a howl, and a howl does real work: it carries for miles, locates scattered pack members and marks held ground. Our article on why wolves howl goes further into it.

Fabric, fit and washing

Printed on 100% polyester. The set is a comforter cover with two pillow covers, sized to fit over the comforter you already own. Machine wash at 30 degrees maximum, and it dries quickly.
