Wolf Comforter 2 Persons

Painted in nebula colours, the wolf on this cover comes forward out of a storm of magenta, violet and cold blue, with a pale cratered moon rising at the lower edge of the design. The eyes are the detail people notice first: one blue, one amber, set in a face turned straight towards the room. Both pillow covers carry the same head in the same bruised purples and pinks.

A family under one sky

Wolves live in families rather than gangs. A pack is usually a breeding pair and their offspring from the last two or three years, sharing one range, one den and one set of routines. The parents lead because they are the parents, not because they won a contest for the top place.

Pups arrive in spring and the whole family raises them. Adults carry food home from a hunt for the litter, and yearlings stay behind to watch their younger brothers and sisters. Somewhere between one and three years old, most young wolves leave to find a mate and start a family of their own.
