A wild pack is a breeding pair and their offspring from the last few years. Not a collection of rivals, not a hierarchy anyone fought their way up: a family, in which the parents lead because they are the parents.

Almost every wolf spends almost its entire life in company. The solitary phase is a brief and dangerous stretch between leaving one family and founding another, which makes the lone wolf the exception rather than the ideal.

A group suits the panel

Several animals spread across the back of a bag fill the space in a way a single central motif does not. The back panel is a broad rectangle, and a design that uses its full width looks considered rather than stranded.
