Flowers around a hard subject do two jobs. They soften the edge where the design meets bare skin, so the piece sits on the body instead of being stamped onto it. And they give the eye somewhere to rest, which makes the central subject read as stronger rather than weaker by contrast.

A bare wolf's head reads as aggression to most people, whatever you intended. The same head in flowers reads as something closer to reverence.

Applying it

Designs with a soft irregular outline are more forgiving than hard-edged rectangles, because a lifting edge is far less obvious.

Clean dry skin, press with a damp sponge, peel slowly. Avoid moisturiser beforehand and pat rather than rub when drying afterwards.
