The head is the piece
At 32x20 mm the wolf head here is large enough to be the focal point rather than a detail on a strap. Most bracelet hardware is smaller than people expect; this is not.
The whole bracelet weighs about 30g, which puts it at the substantial end without becoming uncomfortable.
Woven leather and steel
Woven bands flex around the wrist and distribute weight, which matters when the hardware is this size. A solid strap carrying the same head would pull to one side.
The 1cm band width keeps the proportions right: wide enough to carry a large head, narrow enough not to swamp the wrist.
