A braided band behaves differently to a solid one. It flexes around the wrist rather than sitting rigid, it is lighter for the same width, and it is the most comfortable thing to sleep in if you never take jewelry off.
The steel wolf head does the visual work; the leather does the fitting. Here the head is a face set into a dark hammered disc on the clasp plate, muzzle and ears raised bright against the recessed ground, so the ornament and the fastening are the same piece of steel. The band itself is a single wide flat braid in black, left plain along its whole length.
Offered at 16.5cm, 18.5cm and 20cm. Measure around your wrist just below the bone and add roughly two centimetres for a comfortable fit. Add less if you like a piece to sit close, more if you prefer it to move.
New leather sits slightly proud and feels stiff. Within a few weeks it relaxes, conforms and stops being noticeable, then darkens gradually where it contacts skin.
The steel does not change, so a well-worn example has bright hardware against softened leather. That contrast is why these look better at two years than at two weeks.
Keep it out of long soaks. Rain does no harm; a bath or a swimming pool will stiffen it permanently.
