The wolf on this cuff patch faces straight forward, amber eyes level, its muzzle and ruff picked out in grey and white thread on a pale square. On the black hat shown it is the only light thing on the knit, which is why it carries from across a playground.
This is the child's version of the wolf head beanie. It is knitted in acrylic in one size, for a head circumference of 50 to 55 cm, with a cuff that folds up in the usual way and a body that stretches to sit close.
The knit is smooth and fine rather than heavily ribbed, and the patch is stitched flat to the front of the cuff with the word WOLF in the lower corner.
Five colours are made: grey, black, beige, pink and red. The patch stays the same across all of them, so the wolf is the constant and only the knit around it changes.
