Lupus, the Wolf, is a genuine constellation in the southern sky beside Centaurus. It is one of the forty-eight catalogued by Ptolemy in the second century, so people have been putting a wolf among the stars for roughly two thousand years.

This bag is a modern version of a very old habit rather than a new idea.

Why deep space works on fabric

Dark grounds hold their colour on textile better than pale ones do, and a star field is built from bright points against black rather than from fine detail. That combination survives printing at any size and looks as good after a year as it did new.
