Direwolves were real animals long before they became a house sigil. Aenocyon dirus ranged across North America through the Pleistocene, heavier in the jaw and shorter in the leg than a grey wolf, and the tar pits at Rancho La Brea have given up thousands of them. Fiction borrowed the name because it already sounded older than any king.
The emblem here is a direwolf head in white, dark grey and grey, drawn large across the front the way a sigil is meant to be read from a distance. It is a fan piece, made independently for people who love the story rather than issued under licence.
Heraldic beasts were picked for what they claimed about a family. The wolf runs through European arms as a guardian and a survivor of hard winters, and it stayed on Spanish and German shields long after the living animal had been hunted out of much of that ground. Worn on the chest, it still reads the same way.
Thick and cosy, with an organic cotton interior, a polyester exterior and a reinforced exterior zip. Machine washable at 30 degrees. The cut runs small, so take one size larger than you usually wear. Measurements are on the apparel size chart, and the rest of the range sits in wolf jackets.
