A grey wolf sits square to the viewer with a pair of white feathered wings raised behind it, spread wide enough to fill the width of the bag. There is a break of pale cloud in the night sky behind the head, and the rest of the ground is black.
White against black is what makes this design read. A print with nothing bright in it disappears against a dark coat and might as well not be there, whereas these wings show from the other side of a room, which is the whole point of buying a bag with a picture on it.
A calm, soft treatment rather than a dramatic one. The mouth is closed, there is no snarl, and the wolf simply looks back at you with pale amber eyes.
It is the bag for someone who likes wolves and does not want to make a statement about ferocity every time they walk into a room, which is a larger group of people than the rest of this range assumes.
