Nearly every bag in this range is dark, which is sensible and slightly monotonous. This one is not.

A light design has a practical advantage that gets overlooked: it shows. Against a black coat, a dark bag disappears entirely and the print might as well not be there. A pale one reads clearly, which is the whole point of buying a bag with a picture on it.

The design

A calm, soft treatment rather than a dramatic one. No snarl, no high contrast, nothing confrontational.

It is the bag for someone who likes wolves and does not want to make a statement about ferocity every time they walk into a room, which is a larger group of people than the rest of this range assumes.

29 x 16 x 42 cm, Oxford fabric and black nylon, foam-lined back panel, air cushion shoulder straps, strong zips.

Water resistant rather than fully waterproof: the fabric sheds rain, and the zips and seams are not sealed.

Room for a laptop in a sleeve, a bottle, lunch and a jacket.

Light fabric marks more readily than dark, so a wipe with a damp cloth now and then keeps it looking new.
