Moulded muscle padding gives this costume its whole outline. The chest, shoulders and upper arms are sculpted into the top, so the bulk is part of the garment rather than something the wearer has to supply. Grey fur print runs over the raised sections and down into the hollows between them, which is what keeps the sculpting readable at a distance.
The trousers carry a darker, browner fur print, setting the sculpted chest against a heavier base. The mask covers the top of the head and the snout only, with pointed upright ears, a sculpted brow ridge and a textured fur surface across the muzzle. Because it stops at the snout, the wearer's own jaw and mouth stay open below it, which is how the photograph shows it worn.
