A hoop, a web and two feathers
The dreamcatcher comes from the Ojibwe, a hoop strung with a woven web and hung above a sleeping place. Here it hangs below a wolf's head in profile, the web engraved as a fine radiating lattice with two long feathers falling from the bottom of the hoop. In the photograph the head glows cool teal while the hoop and feathers below it run pink, the two ends of the panel reading as separate colours at once.
Colour beside a bed
A design built around sleep asks more of its colour setting than a desk piece does. Cool blues and greens keep the lattice crisp and the feathers sharply drawn, which is the version photographed and a good match for the early part of an evening. The warm end of the sixteen colours is gentler: amber and soft red at a low intensity leave enough light to cross a dark room without flooding it.
Intensity is adjustable and the remote is included, so moving between a bright cool setting and a dim warm one takes a moment. The four flashing modes sit alongside the steady colours when you want the web to shift.
