Modern Wolf Head Watch

Skoll and Hati run through Norse myth as a pair of wolves in permanent pursuit, one behind the sun and one behind the moon. The old poems treat that chase as the engine of the sky. Time moves because something is running.

The face of the chase

The dial carries a wolf head in raised relief, looking straight out of the case, the fur worked into fine ridges that take the light differently as the wrist turns. Everything around it stays black. Black case, black bezel, black baton markers, black hands, four screw heads set at the corners of the bezel, and a small triangle marking the top of the hour track.

One red second hand is the only colour on the watch, and it is the part that runs. Set over a black strap stitched down both sides, the effect is a night sky with a single moving light in it.
