Several fresh colours mixed across the whole panel, with nothing held back. Set beside the rest of our backpack range, which runs heavily to black and deep blue, this is the one that announces itself.

Strong colour is also what survives being seen from a distance. Subtle tonal work disappears across a room; saturated colour holds its separation in poor light, in a photograph, and from the far end of a corridor.

You can always find it

An underrated advantage. School cloakrooms, office floors, gym benches, station platforms and baggage carousels are full of identical black bags.

A bright one is picked out in a second, is far less likely to be taken by mistake, and is much easier to describe if it goes astray. It is the reason travellers tie ribbons to their luggage, and this has the ribbon built in.

Water resistant rather than fully waterproof: the fabric sheds rain, and the zips and seams are not sealed.
