Wolf Head Cap

Embroidered head on, the wolf meets you level. Grey and charcoal threads build the muzzle and the ruff, two amber eyes sit under a heavy brow, and the word WOLF is stitched below on a pale woven ground. The patch is squared off, edged in black and sewn flat to the front panel.

Where the mesh comes from

The trucker shape began as a giveaway. Feed mills, seed companies and farm suppliers handed these caps to drivers and field hands, which is how they picked up their other name, the feed cap. The half mesh build was the practical half of it: a structured front to carry a printed name, open mesh behind so air could move through a hot cab.

Black on black

This cap keeps the construction and drops the advertising. Front panels and curved peak are black, with rows of topstitching following the length of the brim, while the sides and back are black mesh in a fine open weave. Against that much dark cloth the pale patch is the one point of light, which is why the grey wolf on it reads from across a room.
