Ventriloquist Puppet Wolf

Sitting upright with its legs stretched out in front and its arms held wide, this grey wolf is built to be lifted and worked from the inside. The coat is a warm grey brown, the muzzle a broad cream panel ending in a large chocolate nose, and the ears stand tall with dark brown outer edges and pale cream linings. Round dark eyes and a small stitched mouth give it a mild expression rather than a fierce one.

A character for two voices

The wolf answers back. One voice belongs to the child, the other to the animal, and the conversation runs between them: the head turns, the arms swing wide in surprise, and a personality builds itself over a few afternoons. When the show ends the wolf holds its sitting pose on a shelf or at the end of a bed.

Size and care

Size: 32 cm, which puts it comfortably on a lap or under one arm. The paws and the soles of the two forward facing feet are cut from a smoother flat fabric in the same grey as the coat, and the pile is short and dense rather than shaggy. Hand wash for durability. For children over 3 years old.
