Wolf pups are born with blue eyes. The colour holds for the first weeks of life and then shifts, usually towards amber, as the pup grows into its adult coat. This little plush keeps the early stage: two wide, pale blue green eyes set in a cream face, still looking up at everything.
The colouring runs the way it does on a real pup. Cream across the muzzle, chest, belly and paws, with grizzled grey and charcoal laid over the crown, shoulders, back and haunches, so the two tones blend at the edges rather than meeting in hard lines. The ears stand upright, pale inside and outlined in black at the rims. A small black nose and a stitched mouth finish the face. It sits back on its haunches with the front paws set forward and the head tilted slightly, which is what gives it the enquiring look.
