Soft Wolf Plush

Grey wolves wear two coats at once. Long guard hairs carry most of the colour and shed the weather, while a dense underlayer holds the heat in. That is why a wolf in winter looks frosted rather than evenly grey, and it is the effect this plush picks up across its back and sides.

Lying down, paws forward

The pose is the settled one, body stretched along the ground with both front legs reaching out and the head lifted. Mottled grey covers the back, flanks and tail, which finishes in a dark tip. Cream runs along the muzzle, the paws and a long ruff at the throat, where the pile is left longer so it stands out around the cheeks. The ears are edged in black with cream inside, and a broad black nose sits above a pale chin.
