Two heads, one band

That pairing is the whole shape of this cuff. The band opens at the front, and each end finishes in a wolf head turned to meet the other, snouts almost touching. Ears lie flat, brows are furrowed, the coat is cut in short strokes, and a darker tone in the hollows makes the modelling read from across a room.

Bands ending in facing animal heads are an old northern habit, older than the sagas themselves, and the idea still works because the wearer's wrist becomes the ground the two beasts stand on.

How the cuff is built

Polished metal, silver in tone, with a dark textured inlay set into the side of the band so the arm of the cuff carries interest behind each head. A hinge at the back lets it open, and the gap at the front is part of the design rather than a closure.
