Red mask on a black dial
A marker at twelve shaped differently from all the others is one of the oldest tricks in watch design. The eye finds the top of the dial before it reads anything, and the rest falls into place from there. Here that job goes to a red triangle set into the chapter ring, directly above a wolf's head.
The head is drawn in deep red on black, front on and full face, the fur cut into sharp lines that run out towards the edge of the dial. Two gold hands cross over it. Around the outside, red dots alternate with white batons, and a date window sits at six with red behind the number. Wolf-Cub Sport Watch is printed in gold near the top.
The case and bezel are finished in teal, and the crown at three is broad and ridged, standing proud of the side.
