A snarling wolf head sits in gold thread along one side of this beanie, drawn as a single flowing outline with the jaws open and the teeth showing. The rest of the hat is worked in a raised basketweave knit, and a small dark label near the front carries a second wolf head, this one a silver toned emblem.
The body is slouchy rather than close fitting, so it sits deep over the ears and gathers a little at the crown. The knit stretches to a head size of 56 to 65 cm, and the blend is 95% cotton with 5% acrylic.
Worn with the gold side facing out, the wolf runs from temple to crown and can be read from across a street. Turned the other way, the hat is all texture, and the emblem on the little label is the only sign of the animal.
