Two pointed ears stand up from the crown, dark at the tips, on a hood of grizzled grey and white faux fur. Two long fur lengths drop from the hood down the front and finish in mitten pockets, so the hat, the scarf and the hand covers are one attached piece.
The outer is high quality faux fur in polyester, banded light and dark along its length the way a grey wolf's winter coat is banded. Inside, the cap and the pockets are lined with soft fleece, which is the layer that does the warming. It is made in a single size, with no variants to choose between.
In the photograph the hood is up and closed around the face, with the ears standing clear of the head. That is what makes the shape read as a wolf rather than as a hood with fur trim. The two fur lengths hang down the front like a scarf, and the pockets sit at hip height with the hands pushed inside them. Fringing finishes the bottom end of each pocket.
