Wolf Finger Puppet

Nine small figures make up this set: a dark brown wolf with a cream muzzle, a little house with a pitched roof and a dark door panel down the front, and seven white lambs with pink faces and long soft ears. Each lamb wears a cape in its own colour, green, pink, purple, navy, orange and two shades of red, so the flock can be told apart at a glance.

The whole cast on two hands

Every piece is a soft sleeve that slips over a fingertip. The wolf takes the thumb, the house stands on a finger of its own, and the lambs fill the rest, which means one child can play every part of the old story without putting anything down. Voices change from finger to finger. The lambs hide behind the house, the wolf comes knocking at the closed door, and the scene resets in a second.
