Worth being straight about, because the distinction matters the one time it matters.

The Oxford fabric and nylon shed water well. Walking through a shower, standing at a bus stop in drizzle, getting caught out for ten minutes on a bike: none of that will get through to your things.

What is not sealed is the zips and the stitch lines. In sustained heavy rain, water finds its way in at the zip teeth eventually, because that is true of every bag that does not have welded seams and a roll-top closure.

So treat it as a bag that laughs off British weather and not as a dry bag. If you are carrying something that genuinely cannot get damp, put that item in a plastic bag inside.

The design

Two wolves fighting, in warm reds and yellows set against cold blues. The clash of temperature in the palette is doing as much work as the subject.
