Tribal flames curl round this crest in red, doubling back on themselves at the shoulders and again at the base, with finer silver white lines threaded inside them. The red is laid close enough to read as solid from a distance, while the black ground shows in the gaps between the lines, so the pattern stays crisp.
At the centre a wolf is caught mid snarl. Green eyes sit under a heavy dark brow, the muzzle is worked in grey and white, the fangs show top and bottom and the open throat is red. The badge is cut as a shield, with flame points rising at the top and sides and a taper to a point below, so the outline carries the design instead of boxing it in.
A wolf shows the full length of its teeth as a warning, lips drawn right back, and the display is meant to settle an argument before it becomes a fight. The crest borrows that expression whole: bared teeth, flattened brow, eyes fixed forward.
