Copper and verdigris, not snow

Almost every wolf textile defaults to winter: white ground, blue shadows, cold light. This one does not, and that changes which rooms it suits.

The wolf is pale cream, but everything behind it is weathered copper: rust orange shot through with patina green and flecks of bright metal. That sits against wood furniture, leather, terracotta and warm neutrals in a way a snow scene never quite manages. If your room runs warm and every wolf cushion you have looked at has felt cold in it, this is why.

Falling water is one of the harder things to render, because it has no fixed shape. What makes it read is the contrast between the blurred white of the fall and the sharp detail around it, and that survives being printed on fabric better than fine texture does.

The wolf leans in from above, with its muzzle and one paw resting on the rocks at the lip of the fall, so the scene has depth rather than a subject stuck on a backdrop.
