Every piece of wood carries a grain that belongs to it alone. On this watch the case and the dial share the same pale timber, so those lines run right across the face behind the hands and shift as the light moves over them.
A wolf head sits above centre, drawn in hard angular planes rather than soft fur, the sort of shape that reads as a sigil at arm's length. The dial gives it the whole field to itself. A fine ring of black index marks follows the outer edge, matched by a narrow black bezel and three black hands, so the eye lands on the animal first and the time second.
A wooden case sits differently from steel. This one measures approximately 4.5 cm across and approximately 1.2 cm thick, a generous face to wear. The tan genuine leather strap shows contrast stitching near the lugs and closes on a pin buckle, and the small ridged crown sits at three o'clock. Inside, a quartz movement.
