3D Wolf Hoodie

A diamond sits at the centre of this print, and everything happens inside it. The upper half is a wolf's face built from starlight, white fur running out into violet and cyan, the eyes pale blue. The lower half drops into a forest of thin bare trunks, and a small black wolf stands alone in the clearing at the bottom point. Around the diamond, pink and turquoise paint throws itself outward across the white body and down both sleeves.

A window you wear

The old wolf-coats worked in much the same way. The ulfhednar of the Norse sagas pulled a wolf hide over head and shoulders first of all, and the hide was treated as a threshold: on one side the man, on the other the animal. This artwork draws that threshold as a shape you can actually see, one wolf above looking out and one wolf below walking in.

Raise the hood and the diamond sits directly under your own face. The change of shape is the whole idea.

Fabric, sizes and care

Polyester and cotton, printed in high definition 3D so the colour carries right across the panels. Sizes S to 5XL. Machine wash at 30 degrees maximum.
