Dream Catcher White Wolf

The wolf in the centre panel looks straight out of the hoop, white and pale grey, painted against a warm peach sky broken by soft circles of light. To the left of its face sits a small painted dream catcher, its hanging feathers picked out in red, black and cream, the kind of detail that rewards a second look.

The hoop is bound in pale cord and strung with a cream web, and a deep fringe of white feathers falls from the lower rim on white threads, each strand finished with black and white beads. Against a dark wall the white reads as a soft glow. Against a pale one it settles into the paint until the draught moves it.
