Blue and violet pour across this wolf like ink dropped into water, with flecks of paint thrown out around the crown and the ears. The head is turned a little away from you and the muzzle dips down, so what you get is the long line of the nose, one pale eye, and a ruff breaking into brushstrokes at the shoulder.
Fine splatter is a hard thing to print small, since very small marks can slip between the loops of a knit. The flecks here are kept generous and grouped where they do the most good, so the scatter still reads as scatter rather than settling into texture.
Underneath the colour the drawing is direct: a wedge for the muzzle, two blocks of violet for the ears, one dark point for the nose. Clear shapes like these are what let a small print stay recognisable on the foot.
