Two tall ears lined in pale pink rise above a broad grey head, and below them sit round amber eyes with black pupils, a large black nose and an open mouth in soft pink, edged at each corner with a strip of white felt cut into sharp points.
The body is a single sleeve of short pile plush in even mid grey, wide at the base and shaped so the two small arms fall naturally at the sides. Overall size is 30 cm. Hand wash for durability keeps the pile soft and the face clean.
The open mouth is the working part. A hand inside moves the jaw, so the wolf can talk, yawn, count, ask for a story or swallow an imaginary sausage, and the face stays friendly whatever voice goes behind it. Ventriloquist play of that kind is what the soft pink lining and the felt points are cut for. It stands 30 cm and is for children over 3 years old.
