The front of the bag is one picture. A wolf stands in silhouette on a rocky outcrop with its head back and its muzzle raised, and behind it a vast blue moon fills the sky, close enough that the light and shadow on its surface show.
The palette is blue, white and black and nothing else, so the print is loud in shape and narrow in colour. It carries with the dark coat most people already own.
There is more in it than the silhouette suggests: stars scattered above the moon, a bare tree leaning in from the right, cloud lit from behind, grass along the foot of the print.
At 29 x 16 x 42 cm this sits in the size class that most airlines accept as a free personal item, the one that goes under the seat in front rather than counting as paid cabin baggage. Limits vary by carrier, so it is worth a check before flying, but a larger daypack usually does not qualify and this usually does.
