Six variants, two decisions

The style list looks longer than the choice actually is. There are three designs here, the lone wolf, the howl and the howling moon, and each comes in a silver or a gold tone.

So pick the design you like, then pick the metal tone. That is the whole decision.

The lone wolf itself is a round disc, the wolf drawn in dark engraved line work, standing on broken ground with its head turned back over its shoulder. The words lone wolf are cut into the face beside it, at head height.

Choosing the tone

The usual guidance is worth repeating because it is genuinely reliable. Look at the veins on the inside of your wrist in daylight: if they read blue or purple, silver tones tend to suit; if they read green, gold tends to suit.

The stronger rule is simpler still. Match whatever you already wear. A gold pendant against a steel watch and a silver ring looks like an accident rather than a choice.

Stainless steel, and why it matters here

This is a piece meant to be worn constantly rather than saved for occasions. Stainless steel does not tarnish, does not react with sweat, and survives being showered in and forgotten about.

Sterling silver in the same role needs polishing and will go dark against skin. Steel simply does not.
