Most triptychs in our range are landscapes, where a wide format gives a scene room to spread. This one is hung the other way, three panels stacked into a tall column, so the format carries a single figure upward instead of opening out a scene.
The result is the most forceful multi-panel piece we carry.
The wolf here is dressed for the part. White line markings run across the brow and one side of the face, feathers and crossed arrows sit behind the ears in the top panel, and a teal dreamcatcher hangs through the lower panels against rust and brown. It looks straight out at you rather than snarling.
The wolf as warrior is an old association and a reasonably accurate one, though not for the reason people assume. Wolves do not overpower prey; they outlast it, tracking for hours and testing a herd until something slower shows itself.
Endurance rather than ferocity. That is a better thing to have on a wall you look at before work than pure aggression is.

It is a poor fit for a bedroom or a dining room, where a steady direct stare works against what the room is for.
