Everything else in this range shows an animal. This shows the creature from the story instead: a snarling head in profile with the mane swept back, one red eye as the only colour in an otherwise black and white image, and a full moon filling the panels on the right.

Where it belongs

Be honest about the room. This is a dramatic image and it does not soften with familiarity. It suits a study, a games room, a stairwell or anywhere the brief is atmosphere rather than calm.

It is the wrong choice above a dining table or in a nursery, and no amount of liking it changes that.
