Wolf art is almost entirely action: running, howling, hunting, standing on something. The real animal spends the larger part of its day lying down.

The pattern is long travel followed by long rest, not constant motion. A pack can cover serious ground in a night and then do very little for most of the following day, which is how the energy budget works out for an animal that hunts large prey and fails at it most of the time.

So this is the honest portrait, and it is the rarest subject in the category.
