Two wolves in profile beneath a full moon is about the most reproduced arrangement in wolf art, and there is a reason for that. A bright disc at one end of the picture and a pair of hard-edged heads at the other is as strong a shape as you can put on a canvas.
Worth knowing, and it does not spoil the picture. Wolves do not howl at the moon. They raise their muzzles because pointing the sound upward and outward carries it further, in the same way a person cups their hands to shout across a valley.
