A ring is the most demanding piece of jewelry you can buy. It sits inches from your own eye all day, it goes through every handshake, and it is the one piece where getting the size wrong makes it unwearable rather than merely imperfect.

Before you order: the size

Ring sizing is the single reason rings get returned, and it is entirely avoidable. Ours run on US numeric sizes, roughly 8 through 12 depending on the design.

Steel cannot be resized after the fact. Erring generous is the safer error.

Living with a steel ring

Steel needs almost nothing. A wipe restores the shine, and there is no reason to take one off for showers, washing up or the gym.

The one habit worth adopting is removing any ring before heavy lifting. A metal band between a bar and your finger is the single scenario where a ring can genuinely injure you.

Black coatings wear at the high points of a carving over a year or two, revealing steel underneath. Whether that reads as character or damage is a matter of taste, and worth deciding before you buy rather than after.
